Tori offers court reporting services to attorneys and court reporting agencies upon request.  With over 12 years of experience in civil litigation, including over 3 years as the official reporter for the North Carolina Business Court in Raleigh, complex business litigation and medical expert deposition testimony are favored specialties; however, all topics and specialties are welcome.

Should you desire to schedule a deposition or hearing, please contact tori at tori@tori-pittman.com with the pertinent information, including date, time, case name, number, venue, approximate duration of the matter, the witness name, and requested delivery time.

All deposition and hearing transcripts are delivered in electronic format ONLY (originals will be printed, bound, and sealed for later admission to the Court) in accordance with the North Carolina Court of Appeals’ preferred page layout.

Tori is also available to provide scoping services for busy professional reporters.  Advantage Software’s Eclipse program is her computer-aided transcription software. 

Electronic Recordings made in the District Courts of North Carolina can also be transcribed and certified in accordance with the North Carolina standards for filing with the requisite review courts.

Finally, educational programs for both court reporters AND attorneys are available upon request.  From software training for court reporters to how to make the best record when working with a court reporter for attorneys, there is probably a topic that’s already been developed.  If you have an idea for a seminar, please feel free to request it.
